Uncle Dan's Chipotle Ranch BBQ Ribs are a meat lover's dream. These succulent baby back ribs are coated in a rich, flavorful rub, slow-cooked to tender perfection, and basted in a smoky, tangy BBQ sauce that features Uncle Dan's Chipotle Ranch Seasoning for an added kick. The process takes some time and patience, but the result is ribs that are fall-off-the-bone delicious and packed with flavor. They're the perfect main dish for a summer barbecue, a game day feast, or any time you're in the mood for some seriously good comfort food.

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds of baby back ribs
  • 1½ cups of brown sugar
  • 1 cup of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of crushed red pepper
  • ¼ cup of cumin
  • 2 teaspoons of black pepper
  • 1 package of Uncle Dan's® Chipotle Ranch Seasoning
  • 1½ cups of brown sugar
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup of molasses
  • 2 cups of ketchup
  • 2 chipotle peppers

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients for the rub. Apply the rub to both sides of the ribs, massaging it into the meat. For best results, allow the ribs to sit in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
  2. Preheat your grill to low heat and barbecue the ribs for approximately 2 hours.
  3. To prepare the sauce, combine brown sugar and water in a saucepan.
  4. Add the Uncle Dan's® Chipotle Ranch Seasoning and chipotle peppers to the saucepan. Bring the mixture to a rolling boil for 3 minutes, making sure to break up the peppers.
  5. Add ketchup and molasses to the saucepan and let the mixture come back to a boil.
  6. As the ribs finish cooking, generously spread the BBQ sauce on one side and let it cook for an additional 20-30 minutes. Flip the ribs, apply the sauce to the other side, and cook for another 20-30 minutes.
