BBQ Baby Back Ribs Recipe

Afternoon with Uncle Dan features guest chefs cooking with the real Uncle Dan from Uncle Dan's® Seasoning and Salad Dressing. This video features Chef Anthony Buttice from Satay.

 

Ingredients
  • 3 lb. baby back ribs
  • Rub:
  • 1 1/2 C brown sugar
  • 1 C salt
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1/4 C cumin
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • BBQ Sauce:
  • 1 pkg. Uncle Dan's® Chipotle Ranch Seasoning and Salad Dressing
  • 1 1/2 C brown sugar
  • 1 C water
  • 1 C molasses
  • 2 C ketchup
  • 2 chipotle peppers
Instructions
  1. Mix rub ingredients and rub ribs both sides. For best results, rub 2-3 days.
  2. Then barbecue on grill for approximately 2 hours on low heat.
  3. For sauce, mix brown sugar and water into sauce pan.
  4. Add chipotle peppers and Uncle Dan's® Chipotle Ranch Seasoning and Salad Dressing.
  5. Bring to a rolling boil for 3 minutes, and break up the peppers.
  6. Add ketchup and molasses and let boil again.
  7. As ribs finish, spread on sauce and let cook for 20-30 minutes on one side, then flip and spread on the other side.
