Cobb Salad Wraps with Uncle Dan's Country Dill Dip
Delicious cobb salad wrapped in a whole-grain tortilla for easy portability and delicious flavor.
Ingredients
- 3 standard whole-grain tortillas
- ¾ cup thinly sliced lettuce
- 2 large hard-boiled eggs
- 6 tbsp minced red onion
- 1 medium avocado
- ½ cup chopped tomatoes
- ½ lb. boneless, skinless chicken breast (cooked any way you like, then shredded)
- 6 tbsp bleu cheese crumbles
Instructions
- Lay a tortilla on a plate.
- Layer with lettuce, sliced hard-boiled egg, and minced onions.
- Add the sliced avocado, tomatoes, shredded chicken, and blue cheese crumbles.
- Roll up your wrap.
- Slice the wrap in half.
- Serve.
Uncle Dan's Country Dill Dip
Ingredients
- 1 packet Country Dill
- 2 cups sour cream
- 2 cups mayonnaise
Instructions
- Combine ingredients
- For best results, mix at least 8 hours before serving
- Refrigerate

Mexican Pasta Salad with Uncle Dan's Southern Classic Ranch Salad Dressing
Mexican Pasta Salad with Uncle Dan's Southern Classic Ranch Salad Dressing & Pair it up with cut-up fruits
Ingredients
- 8 oz wholemeal pasta, cooked, spirals, bow tie, or penne
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- ½ red capsicum or bell pepper, diced
- ½ red onion, finely diced
- 1 Lebanese cucumber, diced
- 1 can of corn kernels, drained
- 1 can of black beans, drained & rinsed
- ¼ cup fresh coriander, chopped
Dressing Preparation
Ingredients
- 1 packet of Uncle Dan's Classic Ranch
- 2 cups Buttermilk (substitute with a dairy-free option)
- 2 cups Mayonnaise
Instructions
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the Ranch mix, buttermilk and mayonnaise.
For best results, mix at least 8 hours before serving.
Refrigerate.
Uncle Dan's Notes
Reduce the recipe by half to prepare 16 oz (for 3-6 people)
Consider substituting cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, low-fat sour cream or mayonnaise to mix up the right dip for you.
Now, combine all of the salad ingredients in a large bowl. Mix all the dressing ingredients in a small bowl. Add the dressing to the salad and toss gently to combine. Your healthy Mexican pasta salad is READY!
Indian Curd Sandwich Recipe for School Lunch (or anytime 😄)
Curd sandwich – Pair it up with some nuts and Uncle Dan's Zesty Ranch Dip and oranges
For curd sandwich:
- 1 cup of curd (or yogurt)
- ½ cup of mayonnaise (can also use eggless mayo)
- ½ tsp mixed herbs
- ¼ tsp pepper powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ an onion, finely chopped
- 3 tbsp sweet corn
- ½ capsicum pepper, finely chopped
- ½ carrot (grated)
- butter
Instructions
- In a bowl, take 1 cup curd, ½ cup mayonnaise, ½ tsp mixed herbs, ¼ tsp pepper powder, and ¼ tsp salt.
- Mix well, making sure everything is well combined.
- Also, add ½ onion, 3 tbsp sweet corn, ½ capsicum, and ½ carrot and mix well.
- Now spread butter on 2 slices of bread.
- Spread a generous amount of prepared curd stuffing.
- Cover with another slice of bread and trim the sides.
- Optional: grill the sandwich.
- Finally, pack the kids' lunch box, pack curd sandwiches, oranges, and nuts in the box.
Uncle Dan's Zesty Ranch Dip
Ingredients
- 1 packet Zesty Ranch
- 2 cups sour cream
Instructions
- Mix the ranch packet and sour cream in a medium-sized bowl
- For best results, mix 8 hours before serving
- Refrigerate

Dewar Family Cook Off
Every summer for the past 42 years, the Dewar family gathers on Spirit Lake in North Idaho. One of their traditions is to host a family cook off. Of course, Uncle Dan’s has been on hand each summer. Recently, they decided to add a spin and require that each recipe served during the cook off include Uncle Dan’s. They even invited the real Uncle Dan out to attend and be one of the judges.
Uncle Dan's Quarterback Guacamole Recipe
Run Back Salsa Instructions
- 1 half package of Uncle Dan’s Game Day Dip or Uncle Dan’s Zesty Ranch
- 1 cup of sour cream
- 1 cup of salsa
- Mix Dan's Game Day Dip (Or Zesty Ranch) with sour cream to desired consistency
- Add salsa
- Mix well
- Enjoy and Cheer On!
Slow Cooker "Crack" Chicken
- 2 pounds of boneless chicken breasts
- 2 (8 ounce) blocks cream cheese
- 2 (1 ounce) packets your choice of Uncle Dan's Dressings and Seasonings
- 8 ounces of bacon, cooked crispy and crumbled
- In a slow cooker, combine chicken, cream cheese, and Dan's Ranch
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4 hours, until chicken shreds easily
- Shred chicken with large fork or spoon, so all the ingredients combine
- Add in crumbled bacon and stir
- Serve warm
Spam on a Stick with Uncle Dan's Dipping Sauces
- 1 can of spam
- Rice flour or almond flour
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups of panko
- Frying oil
- Cut Spam into equal rectangles
- Skewer Spam rectangles with wooden skewers
- Mix one package Uncle Dan’s Chipotle Ranch into 2 cups Rice Flour
- Beat together 3 eggs; set our 2 cups Panko
- Take skewered Spam rectangles--dip in Chipotle Ranch, then roll in egg, then roll in Panko. Set aside to be fried.
- Fry in oil until golden brown.
- Mix one package of your favorite Uncle Dan’s flavor (see below)
- Serve and enjoy.
- ***Note: The great thing about Uncle Dan’s is you can mix it to taste. We will be giving FULL package mixing instructions here but you can alter these to your taste. TIP: Make Uncle Dan’s the day before.
- In a bowl mix Uncle Dan’s Chipotle Ranch (or your favorite UD flavor) with 1 cup artisan mayo and 1 cup Sour Cream. Set Aside
