Ingredients
- 1 lb elbow macaroni
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk (whole or 2%)
- 1 ½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella
- 1 tbsp Uncle Dan’s Trophy Spice – Gramps 3 Cheese
- ½ cup BBQ sauce (plus more for drizzle)
- 1 cup chopped cooked bacon or pulled pork (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large oven-safe skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1–2 minutes.
- Slowly add milk, whisking constantly, until the mixture thickens (about 4–5 minutes).
- Reduce heat to low. Stir in cheddar, mozzarella, and Uncle Dan’s Trophy Spice – Gramps 3 Cheese. Mix until cheese is melted and smooth.
- Add BBQ sauce and cooked pasta, stirring to coat evenly. Add meat if using.
- Optional: Top with more shredded cheese and place skillet under broiler for 2–3 minutes for a bubbly, golden finish.
- Drizzle with extra BBQ sauce and sprinkle with parsley before serving.
