Grilled Baby Back Ribs with Trophy Spice Rub

Ingredients

  • 2 racks baby back ribs
  • 3 tbsp Uncle Dan’s Trophy Spice – Steak & Rib Blend
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar (optional
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce (optional, for glaze)
  • Kosher salt (optional, to taste)

Instructions

  1. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat them dry.
  2. Rub both sides with olive oil, then season generously with Uncle Dan’s Trophy Spice – Steak & Rib Blend.
  3. Optional: Add a light spritz of apple cider vinegar for extra tenderness.
  4. Let the ribs rest at room temperature for 30 minutes (or refrigerate for up to 12 hours).
  5. Preheat grill to 250–275°F for indirect heat. Add wood chips if desired.
  6. Grill ribs bone-side down for 2.5 to 3 hours with the lid closed, rotating halfway through.
  7. Optional: Brush with BBQ sauce and grill over direct heat for the last 15 minutes.
  8. Let ribs rest 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
