Marinated Pasta Salad Recipe

Ingredients
  • Salad
  • 1 - 1/2 cups cooked pasta
  • 4 stalks celery, sliced
  • 1 cup sliced olives
  • 8 green onions, chopped
  • 1 - 6oz jar marinated artichoke hearts
  • 1 - 16oz pkg. frozen California blend vegetables
  • 1 cup pimento stuffed olives, sliced
  • 1 - 4oz can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 4 tomatoes, chopped in large pieces
  • Dressing
  • 1/2 pkg Uncle Dan’s® Seasoning and Dressing Mix (works well with Classic Ranch, Mediterranean Garlic or Italian)
  • 1 - 1/3 cups salad oil
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Instructions
  1. Boil frozen vegetables for 2 minutes, rinse under cold water. Drain well. Combine with remaining ingredients and toss lightly.
Dressing
  1. Combine ingredients and mix well with wire whip. Let stand for 20 minutes. Pour over salad and mix well.
  2. To improve flavor chill for 24 hours before serving.
  3. Mix 2 or 3 times during refrigeration
