This Zesty Calamari Stir-Fry with Uncle Dan's Chipotle Ranch Seasoning is a flavorful spin on a seafood classic. Ingredients
- 7 ounces of thinly sliced baby calamari
- 2 tablespoons of Uncle Dan's Chipotle Ranch Seasoning and Salad Dressing
- ¼ cup of flour
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 3 diced pepperoncini
- 1 tablespoon of chopped garlic
- 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley
- 2 pinches of chili flakes
- 1 tablespoon of capers
- ¼ of a red pepper, roasted & diced
- 2 tablespoons of finely chopped fresh basil
- 2 ounces of water
- 1 lemon, squeezed
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 baguette
Instructions
- Preheat a sauté pan on medium-high for a few minutes.
- Meanwhile, place the pepperoncini, garlic, parsley, chili flakes, and capers in a small cup.
- Mix the flour and Uncle Dan's Chipotle Ranch Seasoning together.
- Place the calamari in a strainer and sprinkle the flour mixture over it, shaking the strainer to coat evenly.
- Carefully add the olive oil and the cup of ingredients into the preheated sauté pan. Use tongs to mix and spread the fragrance.
- Add the calamari to the pan and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add water, butter, roasted red peppers, lemon juice, and basil to the pan.
- Serve the calamari over a bed of arugula dressed with lemon and extra virgin olive oil. Accompany with slices of baguette.
