Uncle Dan's Zesty Calamari Stir-Fry


  • 7 ounces of thinly sliced baby calamari
  • 2 tablespoons of Uncle Dan's Chipotle Ranch Seasoning and Salad Dressing
  • ¼ cup of flour
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 3 diced pepperoncini
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley
  • 2 pinches of chili flakes
  • 1 tablespoon of capers
  • ¼ of a red pepper, roasted & diced
  • 2 tablespoons of finely chopped fresh basil
  • 2 ounces of water
  • 1 lemon, squeezed
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 baguette


  1. Preheat a sauté pan on medium-high for a few minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, place the pepperoncini, garlic, parsley, chili flakes, and capers in a small cup.
  3. Mix the flour and Uncle Dan's Chipotle Ranch Seasoning together.
  4. Place the calamari in a strainer and sprinkle the flour mixture over it, shaking the strainer to coat evenly.
  5. Carefully add the olive oil and the cup of ingredients into the preheated sauté pan. Use tongs to mix and spread the fragrance.
  6. Add the calamari to the pan and sauté for 30 seconds.
  7. Add water, butter, roasted red peppers, lemon juice, and basil to the pan.
  8. Serve the calamari over a bed of arugula dressed with lemon and extra virgin olive oil. Accompany with slices of baguette.
