Our Classic Ranch Seasoned Meat Pie is a comforting and satisfying main course that's perfect for any meal. Ingredients
Crust
- 1 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons of margarine
- 1-1/4 cups of instant potato flakes
- 1 cup of prepared Uncle Dan’s® Classic Ranch (Original Southern) Dressing
Filling
- 1 pound of ground beef or turkey
- 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup of packaged stuffing mix
- 1/2 cup of pearl onions
- 1 cup of small mushroom caps
Topping
- 1 cup of shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 cup of prepared Uncle Dan’s® Classic Ranch Seasoning and Salad Dressing
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Add milk, stir in potato flakes.
- Stir in the egg and Uncle Dan’s® Classic Ranch Dressing.
- Brown the meat in a skillet and drain the excess fat.
- Sauté the mushrooms and onions in the same skillet until they are tender.
- In a bowl, combine the egg and Worcestershire sauce.
- Mix the cooked meat, sautéed vegetables, egg mixture, and stuffing mix together, then place the mixture into the potato shell.
- Pour Uncle Dan’s® Classic Ranch Dressing over the top of the meat mixture.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
- Allow the pie to cool for 5 minutes before cutting into it to serve.
