  • 1 large Onion, sliced
  • 4 large Carrots, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 4 medium Potatoes, peeled and quartered
  • 3 Celery Stalks, cut into pieces
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Dried Thyme
  • 1 tsp Dried Rosemary
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Roast: Season the beef chuck roast with salt and pepper on all sides.
  2. Sear the Meat: Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the roast for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.

  5. Mix the Seasonings: In a bowl, combine Uncle Dan’s Ranch mix, garlic, thyme, rosemary, and Worcestershire sauce. Sprinkle this mixture over the roast.
  6. Add Beef Broth: Pour 1 cup beef broth around the roast, letting the liquid soak into the vegetables.
  7. Cook: Cover and cook on Low for 8-10 hours until the beef is tender and can be shredded with a fork.
