Tuna, Cottage Cheese, Tomato and Bacon Bruschetta Recipe

Afternoon with Uncle Dan features guest chefs cooking with the real Uncle Dan from Uncle Dan's® Seasoning and Salad Dressing. This video features Chef Brett Fontana from the Hayden Lake Country Club.

  • 1 pkg. Uncle Dan's Italian Seasoning and Salad Dressing
  • 1 pkg. Uncle Dan's Mediterranean Garlic Seasoning and Salad Dressing
  • 2 can of tuna
  • 1 C cottage cheese
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Bacon
  • 1 loaf italian bread
  • Butter
  • Olive oil
  • Fresh parsley
  1. Slice the loaf of bread.
  2. Melt butter in a pan and then brown the bread on each side.
  3. Mix tuna and cottage cheese in a bowl.Stir in Uncle Dan's Mediterranean Garlic.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix in sliced cherry tomatoes, Uncle Dan's Italian, fresh chopped parsley, and olive oil.
  5. Slice bacon and cook until done.
  6. Top the bruschetta with the tun mixture and broil in the oven until warm.
  7. Remove from the oven and top with bacon and tomato mixture.
