The sautéed beef strips are tender and flavorful, enhanced by the earthy mushrooms and aromatic onions. Served over rice or noodles, Uncle Dan's Creamy Ranch Beef Stroganoff is sure to be a hit! For added versatility, try substituting the steak with ground beef or turkey.


  • 1 lb. round steak, cut into 1/4” strips
  • 2 tbsp. oil or margarine
  • 4 oz. sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 pkg. (0.75 oz.) Uncle Dan® Creamy Ranch Seasoning and Dressing mix
  • 2 cups Sour Cream


  1. Cook the steak in oil or margarine until browned.
  2. Add enough water to cover the steak and let it simmer until tender.
  3. Add onions and mushrooms to the pan and let simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the sour cream and Uncle Dan’s dry dressing mix. Let it cook until the mix is heated through.
  5. If desired, thicken the sauce with cornstarch.
  6. Serve the stroganoff over rice or noodles.
