Last week, in Vancouver, Canada, hundreds flocked to the Gluten-Free Expo to celebrate gluten-free products and a gluten-free lifestyle. Uncle Dan’s World Famous Dressings and Seasonings was proud to mingle with fans, old and new, from far and wide, who were thrilled by Uncle Dan’s entire line of gluten-free products. We even had a whole family of Uncle Dan’s fans stop by the booth -- three generations of dip-lovers! A big thank you to the Expo and to everyone who came out for a gluten-free good time! Until next year, Vancouver!

Remember, this is a limited launch and is only available in select Spokane area Rosauers Supermarkets & Super 1 Foods grocery stores. On May 21st, 1966, at Wray’s Thriftway in Yakima, Washington, the man we would come to know as Uncle Dan wowed shoppers with demos of his dry dressing and seasoning packets. Fifty years later, Uncle Dan returned to Wray's, joined by his son and present General Manager of Uncle Dan’s Salad Dressings, to celebrate half a century of work and flavor, to connect with the community Uncle Dan’s came from, and, of course, to offer in-store demos of his dry dressing and seasoning packets.

Loyal Uncle Dan’s fans came from far and wide to meet the man behind the dressing, and hang out with two generations of Dans. Some even left with their own priceless dressing packets personally signed by Uncle Dan!

Thank you to everyone who made this anniversary special, and stay tuned throughout the year for special events and discounts in honor of Uncle Dan’s half a century of delicious dressings.

The Gluten-Free Expo in Vancouver, BC early January may have been low on gluten, but it was packed with fun and flavor! Uncle Dan’s had a corner booth at the show, where Chris Stephens, General Manager, handed out samples of Dan’s dressings and seasonings, paired beautifully with other gluten-free grub. Neal Brothers mayo provides an excellent base for Dan’s dressings packets. Terra Exotic Vegetable Chips are colorful, funky and supremely dippable! Lundberg Rice Chips are another dipping classic, straight off the farm! All in all, the event provided an unparalleled opportunity to meet other creative food producers with products for the gluten-free community, while meeting awesome, friendly British Columbians and Vancouverites, and getting to do what we love-- share good food and Dan’s dressing. Thank you to everyone who came out to the show, all our new friends and fans, everyone who helped volunteer at the show and our booth, and all the other exhibitors who made the expo a gluten-free good time!

Uncle Dan’s has been carried in Safeway stores for over 45 years. Currently, Uncle Dan’s can be found in 274 Safeway stores in the Pacific Northwest. Safeway carries Creamy Ranch and Classic Ranch.

Uncle Dan’s will be located in a different section in U.S. Safeway stores for a period of 8-10 months. Traditionally, Uncle Dan’s is located by the other dry salad dressing mixes. Now, Uncle Dan’s will be moved next to the section where croutons are located.

Uncle Dan’s is proud to announce that we have partnered with another northwest favorite, Trophy Spice!

Trophy Spice originated in a family meat shop on the farm where friends and family came together to create custom spice blends to use in making summer sausage. Later, Trophy Spice developed custom blends for seasoning deer, elk and beef. It was soon discovered that the spices were extremely versatile in many different types of cooking and cuisine, whether it’s barbecuing or fine dining.
